This policy explains what personal information Onyx Performance collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We have written it in plain English rather than legal language.
Onyx Performance is a trading name of Ornageberry Ltd, a company registered in Ireland. Our address is Unit 11D, Commons, Navan, Co. Meath, C15 HC53, Ireland. Ornageberry Ltd is the data controller for the information described here.
For any privacy question or request, email onyxperform@gmail.com.
We only collect information you give us directly, plus limited technical data if you accept cookies.
| What | When |
|---|---|
| Name, email address, phone number | When you submit any enquiry, questionnaire or consultation form |
| Your training goal, experience level, and what has held you back | When you complete the fit finder or the early-access questionnaire |
| Age, sex, height, weight, and activity level | Only if you complete the calorie questionnaire, which needs them to calculate your result |
| Device, browser, approximate location, and pages viewed | Only if you accept cookies |
The calorie questionnaire asks for your age, sex, height and weight. Under the GDPR this can count as data concerning health, which gets extra protection. We only collect it because you chose to use the calculator, we use it solely to produce your result and to prepare for a coaching conversation, and we never sell it or use it for advertising targeting. If you would rather not provide it, simply do not complete that questionnaire — everything else on the site works without it.
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and arranging a consultation | Your consent, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract |
| Calculating and sending your questionnaire results | Your explicit consent |
| Providing coaching services if you join | Performance of our contract with you |
| Measuring and improving our advertising | Your consent, given through the cookie banner |
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf:
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
We do not load any advertising or analytics cookies until you accept them. If you decline, the site works exactly the same and no tracking scripts are loaded. You can change your mind at any time:
Enquiry and questionnaire details are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. If you become a member, we keep your records for as long as you are a member and for six years afterwards, to meet Irish tax and accounting requirements.
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
To exercise any of these, email onyxperform@gmail.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
This site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are stored in access-controlled accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and limit who can see it.
This website is not intended for under-16s, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
